“They used to have Winterfest here. In between the S and the H they flooded in between there and you could go skating. That’s when it was smaller right. Ya and before the S wing field, a few summers they had film at night, before the portables arrived.”

Audrey Glasbergen is a life-long resident of Scarborough and has worked at UTSC for 35 years. She is currently the Administrative Assistant to the ten degree-granting programs in the Social Sciences. In the conversation, Audrey shares her reaction to the negative and derogatory terms often used to describe Scarborough.
