“The geographer in me led me to the environment of this place. It was just unique; very different from the hustle and bustle of downtown. It really drew me in. And I never looked back. Once I came, I knew this was the place to be.”

Jennifer Schroeder arrived at UTSC as a student in the early 1970s. She later on became a college teacher and public educator. Jennifer worked for TVO and is a pioneer in educational television in Ontario. In the interview, Jennifer shares her memories of academic and student life in the 1970s and talks about her involvement in international student association at Scarborough College.
