“Scarborough for me was an emotional attachment. I don't know what it was. It was far away from home. It was different, and I don't know - it felt like one big high school, really.”
Tavila Disha Haque describes herself as having been born in Bangladesh, raised in Botswana and now living in Toronto. She is a photographer, writer/blogger and artist and has participated in a number of exhibits with a focus on the communities and cultures of Scarborough. Tavila studied English at UTSC.
